Game Payment

How to get paid for your games

To ensure you are being paid for your game use Horizon Messaging to email the following information to Craig Johnson Treasurer of CIHRA.
  • The first page of your W9.
  • Type out your bank information into the text of your email. Designate whether it is checking or savings and make sure your bank allows ACH payments.
  • Provide the signature page of the Independent Contractor Agreement.
  • Officials are Vendors You are not an employee and will be treated as a vendor. You will receive a 1099 NEC form at the end of the year by Horizon Messaging. Updating Your Information Updates to any of this information should be done through Horizon Messaging. Monthly Payment Process We do not use Horizon for payments of games. All games are paid each month on the 4th business day for the games worked the previous month.

  • There is currently a 5% administration fee taken out of each payment. Payment of Dues CIHRA Dues are taken out of your January payments paid in February. The amount is currently $45.
  • Download the W 9 IRA Tax Form
  • Download the independent Contractor Form

How do I see how much I should get paid

To learn how much you get paid go into horizonwebref, click on your Personal Game Schedule and click Payroll Report. Then Multiply amount by .95. Those who work RMHL or CHSSA games need to exclude those games.
